Michael came to Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship and became one of the most decorated pitchers in ORU baseball history. After earning All-American honors, he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians and played within their organization for 3 years before injury forced his retirement. Michael joined The Arrow Group as a producer in 2014 and completed the Hartford’s School of Insurance program shortly after, earning his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation. He is a member of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and has a passion for making BA the best community in the state. Currently, Michael also serves as a State Representative for District 98 in Broken Arrow. He is the Chairman of the Common Education Committee and is an assistant majority whip. From 2014-2016 Michael served on the Insurance Committee in the House of Representatives. He was recently appointed to the Southern Regional Education Board by Governor Fallin and will serve a two year term. In 2014, Michael was appointed to the Education Commission of the States, and to the Teacher Leader Effectiveness Commission. He and his wife Krystal reside in Broken Arrow, along with their three boys Blake, Easton, and Parker.
